Set amongst the trees in the existing forest, the ocean front yoga resort is composed of a welcoming structure and three buildings.
The research and development for the Eco-friendly, Boutique Yoga Retreat resulted in an innovative solution for saving energy and water: harvesting water on site.
Made of community-manufactured structurally insulated concrete panels, the buildings are raised to allow for flooding and creating community areas on the ground level. Native wood incorporated as flooring, screens, and furniture, brings warmth to the project which integrates with the site.
