Drawing inspiration from the Art Deco era, KBA created a space that exuded elegance and sophistication.
Rich deep gemlike colors of red, blue, and green, complemented by brass and gold accents evoke a timeless and luxurious atmosphere. To enhance the intimate and exclusive feel of the space, KBA incorporated design elements that suggested a lounge-like environment. A side wall with a curtain-like effect created depth and shadow, while smooth surfaces and vertical emphasis added a sense of sophistication.
Materials and finishes were carefully selected to evoke the spirit of the Roaring Twenties. Blue lacquer, aerodynamic curves, and vertical lines all contributed to the overall aesthetic.
SoHo’s nightlife is a seductive blend of artistic flair, bohemian charm, and a touch of urban sophistication.
The cigars themselves were the true stars of the show. Custom-designed cigar holders and box holders made of luxurious wood showcased the premium products.
A central glass display, illuminated by a spotlight, drew attention to the most exceptional cigars. This "jewel box" in the center of the store not only captivated customers inside but also intrigued passersby.
To accommodate inventory changes and events, KBA incorporated rotating vitrines on wheels. These lacquered vitrines with brass accents provided flexibility and storage space without compromising the overall design. Additionally, the lowered ceiling allowed for discreet storage of humidification equipment, preserving the space's aesthetic.
The new SoHo Cigar Bar Retail, designed by KBA, successfully captured the essence of the original location while offering a fresh and inviting atmosphere. The combination of Art Deco inspiration, luxurious materials, and practical design elements created a space that catered to the discerning cigar aficionado.
